Do you guarantee your work?

We certainly do.  We even put our promises in writing.  The following Limited Warranty accompanies the work done in our shop on every customer’s vehicle.

QUEEN CITY AUTO BODY LIMITED WARRANTY

1. Queen City Auto Body Ltd. provides a Limited Warranty valid for as long as you own the vehicle that we have repaired.  This warranty is granted to the person whose name appears on the original work order.  This warranty is limited to labor only and contains 4 categories which stipulate our responsibilities in detail  IN POINTS 2-5 as follow:

METAL WORK   Queen City Auto Body provides a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY  on all metal work to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration excluding rust repairs.  The Shop will repair and repaint, excluding rust repairs, any metal work warranted hereby, at its sole option when the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle. 
3. PAINTING  Queen City Auto Body Ltd. provides a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY on painting-related work against peeling or delamination of the top coat and/or other layers of paint, cracking or checking of paint and loss of gloss caused by checking or hazing excluding those defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed.  The Shop will prime and repaint the specific sections of the vehicle warranted hereby , at its sole option when claim is made, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use , maintenance, or care of the vehicle.
4. MECHANICAL REPAIRS Queen City Auto Body Ltd. provides a SIX (6) MONTH or 12,000 kilometers, whichever shall occur first, LIMITED WARRANTY on all mechanical repairs pertaining to the original collision damage, excluding suspension, air conditioning or other electrical assemblies or components.  The Shop will repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby, at its sole option, which when claim is made within SIX (6) MONTHS or 12,000 kilometers, which ever shall occur first, of the effective date shown herein, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle.
5. PARTS  Queen City Auto Body Ltd. provides a minimum THREE (3) MONTH or 6,000 kilometers, which ever shall occur first, LIMITED WARRANTY on new or used parts installed by the Shop, excluding suspension, air conditioning, or other electrical assemblies or components.  The Shop will repair or replace any defective part warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made within THREE MONTHS or 6,000 kilometers, which ever shall occur first of the effective date shown herein, unless caused by or damaged from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.  This Limited Warranty does not exclude any additional warranties that are or may be offered by the manufacturer or the supplier of the parts replaced.  

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted or tampered with by any person not authorized by Queen City Auto Body Ltd.  This warranty is not transferable.

SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED are incidental costs such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies and components which are not specifically covered by this LIMITED WARRANTY, nor are consequential damages such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair.

Queen City Auto Body Ltd. is responsible only for what they repair or replace, and not for subsequent failures of, or damage resulting from related parts or units.

HOWEVER, this guarantee does not lessen or replace any rights a consumer may have under the Saskatchewan Consumers Product Warranties Act.

This guarantee is subject to the proof of proper and regular maintenance as it would relate to the repairs performed.  This guarantee does not cover repairs as a result of misuse, or abuse and does not apply to normal wear and tear, or damage due to environmental factors.

This certificate must be presented for work to be done under this guarantee.

THIS GAURANTEE IS GOOD ONLY AT Queen City Auto Body Ltd., UNLESS SO AUTHORIZED BY THEM IN ADVANCE.  NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE MADE WITHOUT PRIOIR APPROVAL.
